Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

I have just returned from Wanaka a lovely township about 1 hour from here Queenstown where Kevin and Ayaka were married on the lakefront at 10am – there were no red roses in sight – but Ayaka carried a lovely bouquet of lavender and now Kevin believes he has to give Ayaka lavender on their anniversary and not red roses! That will save him a fortune over the years. (clever man).

Anyway, I got home feeling full of love and happiness from their ceremony and read this beautiful thank you message from Jen and Jo, who had their civil union ceremony on the beautiful shore of Lake Tekapo, about 3 hours drive from Queenstown in December. I love my role and so to receive a lovely thank you message like this is a real bonus:

We were really over the moon with the service you provided us with through out the whole process of us first contacting you to the wedding day, you really helped when it came to sorting out all the paperwork and even though we were only emailing for months before hand, you really made us feel at ease on the big day and it was like we had known you years – I know that sounds cheesy but its true!
We really hope you’ll let us take you out for lunch and a catch up when we get back to New Zealand and hope you enjoyed, possibly, the most layed back wedding day!
Thank you again for everything and for being the lady who married me to the love of my life!
