The unity candle ceremony is a very special ceremony that can be part of an indoor wedding ceremony. It requires 2 lit candles with the unity candle in the centre, the groom takes one candle and the bride takes the other and together they light the unity candle.
Lighting the centre candle represents your two lives are now joined to one light, and represents the joining together of your two families and two sets of friends as one.
