There was a true Scottish feel today for Stephen and Jane’s ceremony. Stephen was born in Scotland and so he and his best man wore kilts. Jane was piped into the chapel by a piper from Alexandra and the married couple were piped out together, with big smiles on their faces. Stephen and Jane met through work, he is a brain surgeon in Auckland and Jane is a nurse, and through their shared love of hiking and the mountains they chose Queenstown as the location for their wedding day. Some of their guests had travelled as far away as Scotland and Australia – after the ceremony in the chapel by the lake the guests were piped up to the lodge of Stoneridge Estate. In the meantime Stephen and Jane and their wedding party flew up to the snow for their photos!!
