A rustic setting at the Cardrona Hotel for Lou and Phil

My first impression of Lou was her energy, not only was she an entrant in the NZ Wearable Arts, a mother or 2 gorgeous young children and self employed – she was organising her wedding in less than 8 weeks!
Lou and her husband live just out of Christchurch and chose their long weekend to celebrate their wedding at the historic Cardrona Hotel with approximately 80 guests.

During the ceremony the 2 children sat on 2 old suitcases strategically placed for them, in front of the pews you can see in the photo. Fortunately, the rain stayed away until after the ceremony was over and as I drove home over the Crown Range there were a few snowflakes hitting the windscreen – in November!
