Raiarii and Rangitea chose to have their ceremony in Paradise (yes, there is such a place, and perfectly named too!) a short drive from Glenorchy at the head of Lake Wakatipu.
The weather was perfect for their families who had come from French Polynesia to witness this delightful couple marry in a spectacular location. Raiarii and Rangitea have spent a lot of time apart and have worked hard at their relationship and so their communication skills are probably better than many other couples. They exchanged vows in French, which is a language which always sounds so romantic, but on Raiarii and Rangitea’s wedding day it sounded perfect… there wasn’t a dry eye among the guests – tears of joy, I mean. This photo was taken by Rich Bayley – fabulous, isn’t it? Friends, it is my pleasure to present Monsieur et Madame WOHLER!! – it was a true honour and privilege to present such a lovely couple as husband and wife.
