District Court closure over the Christmas/New year period

Cp_069

As you know, when you get married, you have to sign a marriage licence so that the wedding is recognised. For couples who choose to marry during the festive season it becomes a little difficult to uplift the Notice of Intended Marriage as many (if not all) District Courts close.

In Queenstown this year, the final day to uplift a licence is 21 December and the first day day it reopens is 7 January 2013 – so don’t get caught out – start working on your licence now!!
