Autumn is my favourite time of the year to marry in the Queenstown area and I am not the only local who thinks this. Adam’s family has lived in this area for a very long time, going way back to the gold mining era and so it was no surprise to me when he and Narae decided to have their wedding at the end of April – when the trees are gold!
Today I opened up my emails to find this lovely message from Adam:
HI Phillipa,
Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for a great ceremony on the 27th! 🙂 As you probably noticed, I was pretty nervous but you made me feel at ease by chatting to me when I was waiting for Narae to arrive. It was so nice to be able to rely on someone so experienced and lovely to make sure it all ran smoothly. We both wanted a meaningful ceremony and the candle lighting, the readings and the wine ceremony were all perfect.
We had such an amazing day and we received so many comments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the ceremony. We went on to have a fantastic night up at Stoneridge with no issues or dramas the whole evening.
Thanks again and we might bump into you down in Queenstown in the future.
Kind regards,
Please note this is not a photo of Adam and Narae’s wedding, it is a wedding from last autumn, which clearly shows why I love the colours in autumn!
