Tiffany and Alan chose to have their ceremony on the Million Dollar Boat in the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu – very close to the Hilton. After 22 years together and 2 children the topic of marriage came up – neither can remember who asked who, but the main thing is they are now MARRIED!
InterEstingly, their ceremony had 2 firsts for me:
1. The word ‘obey’ has never been included before – Tiffany and Alan’s ceremony did!
2. I have never been asked to include the words -Is there anyone here who knows of any reason why A and B shouldn’t marry? – you guessed it, Tiffany and Alan did! And of course, someone did have an objection, but only in jest!!
He needs to promise not to rub it in too much when Kiwi’s beat the Aussies in anything!
I confess to being a little jealous as their boat left me on the Hilton jetty and they sailed off into the sunset for a lovely cruise on the lake!
