The end of May signifies the end of a stunning autumn. There are still a few colourful leaves clinging to the trees, however, most have fallen, the air is crisper, there is a sprinkling of snow on the mountains with more promised very soon.
May 2023 was a month of variety with some couples exchanging their vows on a lakefront with snow-capped mountains as their backdrop, some were lucky enough to have their dream wedding in the snow in an early Queenstown winter wonderland, others chose to have an intimate ceremony in the Chapel, family weddings in garden settings, eloping … so many romantic options for venues. Whichever was chosen, it was a celebration of love.
For a May wedding in Queenstown, I recommend you bring your sense of adventure, a little flexibility, a touch of ‘can do attitude’ as well as warm clothes and practical boots. Make sure you have an experienced team working with you who have the same attitude as you and who want you to have the BEST DAY EVER!
Big Thanks:
A HUGE thanks to all the support I received in May from the teams at Sunshine Weddings, Heliworks Queenstown, HeliWeddings NZ, Over the Top Helicopters, Stoneridge Estate, Amoment and Simply Perfect. I love my role and without your continued support I wouldn’t be able to share my love and do what I do. So, thank you so very much.
